As posted on the site
http://www.ridesnroads.com/events/ride-to-everglades-seafood , we got started at 10 am from Holiday Park, Weston; FL. Weather was really nice and sunny.
This ride was about wonderful scenery, seafood, frog legs and gator tails :)

Deep In Everglades
The following map shows our route.

Tamiami Trail is a highway time machine that passes through Everglades National Park. It seems like, in those days, building it was considered an amazing engineering feat; the Trail was built through sandy pines, oak hammocks and finally the inhospitable swamps of the Everglades.
As we stopped at Dade Corners for some gas, I met an old friend of mine Andrew filling gas, he was going to Alabama Jacks.

Once you are on the trail, you will find lot of Air Boat Rides.

Of course, what is a ride in FL without an Alligator.

After few miles we came across
Big Cypress sign that confirmed we were going in the right direction.

Big Cypress National Preserve.
This is the smallest post office I have ever seen.

Enjoying the ride
I stopped at a gas station at Everglades City; couple of hot bikes that were parked outside.

And Sea Food Depot

Food is really good, I enjoyed their Conk Fritters, one of the best.
