Sam & Jane's Excellent Texas Adventure!
It's Friday night, May 8th. I'm mostly packed. Jane is ready. I'll get up tomorrow morning and load the bags on Jane. In case anybody is confused, Jane is my '07 Star (Yamaha) VStar 1100 Classic. She's got new Pirelli tires and fresh oil. I washed her tonight and will strap my bags on in the morning. I expect to leave Visalia, CA about 8:00 AM. Y'all have a blast and make a safe trip out of it. We were in the Frio Canyon vicinity last May riding the Twisted Sisters. The Gold Wingers were registering 104 degrees out there during the day on their bikes in early May.

By the way. The other guys are a couple of old shipmates of mine. Mike in the front and Obie behind. Mike lives in San Diego. Obie in Long Island, NY. Obie flew into SoCal and rented a Harley to come on the ride.

On Saturday morning, May 9th, I'm leaving on a two week motorcycle trip. I live in central California, Visalia to be exact, but will be riding to Texas. I'm originally from Texas and will be meeting up with my brother from Arlington and cousin from the Houston area.
