Atlanta ,Ga. to the Arctic Circle Alaska, for breast cancer research

   My son Curt and i just completed that ride  of 12000 miles and 5 weeks.I know a lot of people thought i was too old for that kind of trip but we did it.

  It was a trip of a lifetime and to be able to do it with your son when your 70 is a great feeling.

  We met many wonderful people and i want to thank again all those who came forward and hosted us for a night.

   We rode thru 20 states and 3 canadian providences. The scenery is breath taking. We had  2 very loaded bikes . we planned on doing some camping  but the weather didnt always cooperate. On the way across the country the temp. was 110  then we had mornings in the Yukon when it was 32 degrees. Its hard to travel light and be prepared for camping and those swings in  temps.
