Helge Pedersen and GlobeRiders

I had an amazing visit with Helge Pedersen, who wrote "10 Years on 2 Wheels." During the 80's, Helge rode about 250,000 miles through 77 countries on a BMW G/S. Most of it was on back roads. He lived in a small tent and cooked on a gas stove. Had 2 meals: rice with sardines and sardines with rice. He lived by selling photography and travel articles. Today, he runs a company called GlobeRiders that specializes in long tours to unique countries. He has over 100 countries and 6 continents in his travel log and no longer counts the miles.
