It seems like many of our friends on the site are going on cross-country rides involving great deal of motorcycle camping. I thought of putting together a list with some useful information that I gathered on the web and from my personal experience.

Most important aspects of
motorcycle camping are preparation, planning and
motorcycle camping equipment. The items you take on a ride make lot of difference. You can find lot of information on motorcycle camping and equipment on different
motorcycle forums. The following is the list of motorcycle camping equipment and items that I usually take. You can add and remove things based on your requirements. I try to keep things light.

6. Tooth brush, paste and comb

8. Shampoo, soap and shaving kit
9. Medications
10. GPS (ZUMO) and Maps
11. Cell phone
12. List of emergency contacts
13. First aid kit
14. Bug repellent
15. Duct tape
16. Batteries
17. Flash light
18. Snake bite kit
19. Air mattress
20. Sleeping bags
21. Tent and stuff
22. Toilet paper
23. Lantern
24. Matches/lighter
I do not like to cook when I am camping but for those of you who enjoy cooking.

In addition, do not forget to take condoms and things depending on how busy you are planning to get :).
